The Story Behind the Bicycle: Life is a Journey

Kellys / 24.10.2017

LIFE IS AN ONGOING JOURNEY. YOU KNOW THE PLACE WHERE YOU START, AND YOU KNOW YOUR DESTINATION. YOU REACH ONE POINT AND GO FOR ANOTHER. IT'S LIKE RIDING A BIKE - EVERY SPIN OF THE CRANK BRINGS YOU CLOSER TO THE DESTINATION. WHAT MATTERS IS TO MOVE FORWARD...

Our destination was the heart of Krakow Czestochowa Upland. Sonia took her Kellys SOOT 30 while Milosz the black SOOT 50. The bikes were fully packed!

Sonia: "I really like the position on the bike. It's comfortable and allows us to ride whole day without excessive tiredness. I also like SOOT 30 sexy look..."

Milosz: "For me, the performance is the most important factor when it comes to gravel shredding. Robust drivetrain, powerful disc brakes and versatile geometry are what I really enjoy riding SOOT 50."

We started at the early morning. A gentle mist hovered over the fields. The grass was still covered with morning dew. First kilometres on the gravel ensures us that we're on a right way. Milosz gone crazy a bit - "It's better than a cup of coffee at the morning!"

When the gravel ended we reached the rocky trails. After several dozen of kilometres we deserved for a first stop.

Riding along the prehistoric Jurassic rocks is an extraordinary experience.

After a while, we reached one of the many ruins of castles, located in this region. Those castles are more than 500 years old!

To reach our final destination we needed to ride through the forest. Sonia checked if we're on a right way just to be sure to reach our destination before the sunset. We decided to speed up!

To reach our destination we needed to climb a little...

We finally reached the top, but it wasn't the end yet we needed to set up our small camp before the sunset. Couple more minutes to go and our camp is set.

Did we take everything? I think so!

Time for reward: freshly brewed coffee. Yummy! And now the time has come to enjoy the beauty of the autumn sunset. "Where are we going tomorrow?"
